-- I am scheduled for my third laparotomy on July 30th. It is definately worse that a laparoscopy, I have had 5 of those. It is important to remember to take it easy after the surgery. Feel free to write if you should have any questions. I think I did too much too soon after my laparotomy last June & this is part of the reason I am having another one. I am also scared.
