cysts newly foundFrom: Cindy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jun 25 20:44:52 2003
Hi, I am new to the forum. I was dx'd with endo about ten years ago. I had a hysterectomy and my left ovary and tube removed two years later. I have been having difficulties with fatigue, stomach upset, pelvic pain, pain during intercourse and of course did not think the endo could be the culprit. I went to the doctor after having a severe attack of pain after intercourse with my husband, enough to alarm him and have him want me to go to the ER. I toughed it out. Anyway, my recent ultrasound showed what the doctor said in preliminary results were several small cysts on my right ovary and then a cyst that is about the size of a ping pong ball, 2 cm? Is this considered big? I had one cyst a long time before I was even dx'd with endo but never more than one at a time. I have an appt. with my gyn tomorrow. I haven't been seeing him, only my pcp. The past year she had been treating my symptoms with Nexium without relief. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks!
