Confused and Needs Help!From: Annie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jun 25 18:17:48 2003
Hi, I went on the Depo shot this past February and everything was fine for the first 3 months. But then I went back to Planned Parenthood to get my second shot and they asked me if i was having any pain during intercourse or any bleeding. The answer was yes. So they told me I had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, OR Clymdia or Gonherra. So they gave me 14 days worth of antibiotics and told me to come back in 3 days to give me another pap smear and to see how the medicine was working. I went back, the medicine was doing nothing. So they sent me to the emergency room since Planned Parenthood is only good for birth control and pap smears. The hospital took blood, that came back fine, they took cells from my cervix and that came back fine. And I had an ultrasound today (a normal ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound) and the lady told me that everything looked fine from what they could see. If that's so, then what the heck is it?! I have pelvic pain that feels like cramps to me, painful intercourse, painful pap smears, (I've had six within the last 4 months) I never want to get out of my bed, and bad lower back pain. I've looked up endometrosis before. Would they be able to see that during the ultrasound? If so then what else could it be?
