Re: Seeking Surgeon Referral in Florida or Southeast U.S.From: Lynn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jun 25 15:40:44 2003
I live in the Carrollwood area of Tampa and can suggest a few options for you. I see Dr. Marc Bernhisel who performed a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy on me in 1998 that went very well. I am scheduled again for the 15th of July. He is terrific at surgery and extremely competent. He also has partners in his practice: Dr's Tarantino, Verkauf, Goodman and Yekko. They have practices in South Tampa (next to Memorial Hospital), Brandon, and the USF area. I continue to see Dr. Bernhisel, although I fear that he is a bit sick of hearing me and my complaints, but I did search on this same forum for a new doc just in case. Another member suggested Dr. Jack Mezrah of Tampa to me. She said that she had seen him and that he takes good care of her. I had already checked into him a bit and he does seem to have good credentials. Hope this helps!!
