several years ago i had a nurse practitioner do my pap and pelvic exam.
she told me i was tense, and then she recommended that i masturbate
before gyn exams to "loosen up" down there. OMG!!!!!! i could have shot
the speculum across the room!
tell your doctor. that is ridiculous that she would suggest something
like that. what the heck is wrong with her? is she on crack or
something?
my gyn referred me to a urologist in may. i saw the uro, he assisted my
gyn in the lap. but when i talked to my gyn about the uro, i mentioned
that i really didn't like the guy, that he made me feel like an idiot.
he actually told me he wasn't nuts about him either and would probably
think twice before referring patients to him again. so your doc really
would want to know.
