Again-NOTHING!!!!Except he did see a large fluid filled cyst or endometria mass (he said it had a snowstorm appearance on U/S) on my right ovary. He once again was unable to see my left ovary. And this is a 100 mg. Clomid cycle. Last month he cancelled and did an endo. biopsy. It was non-cancerous but showed a luetal phase def. He could not see my left ovary at all. He said to wait 2 weeks until next cycle and then start taking Aygestin (hopefully if this is a cyst-it will shrink it). Then I have to do a repeat U/S at the end of my next cycle and see what is happening. If it is still there-then he said we will do a lap,hysteroscopy and D&C at the same time. He said his schedule is booked solid for 6 weeks. I think he is wonderful, but I feel like my whole life is on hold. When I go back, I hope that he doesn't put me off another 6 weeks. I have told my OB/GYN that I thought I had endo since I have most all of the symptoms. Since I have other children-he completly blew me off, hence why I am now seeing an RE. I don't want the surgery, but I am so tired of hurting and the Infertility. What does it take to get them to move? Is it possible or likely to have an ovary covered with endometriosis that prevents viewing (and possible release) of the follicles. This is the fourth cycle that we cannot see follicles, but bloodwork shows that I am ovualting. Can you please help me understand what may be happening? Also, what about Aygestin? I am freaked out that it will totally stop my periods. Needless to say, he cancelled this cycle and said no IUI or trigger shot this month. I am crushed! Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? Will we EVER get pg? I will be 38 in October. Any replies would be helpful.
