Re: weight gain

I have been on Lupron for about a year, and had the same problem. I have always been smaller, but now I have gained the weight in my midsection, and can't seem to get it to go away (I am still on Lupron though). What I do notice, is that my body metabolizes the Lupron faster than 3 months, and when it is starting to wear off my body starts to lose the weight and go back to normal weight. Has anyone else had the Lupron wear off early? My insurance won't always pay for another shot before the 3 months, so I end up in horrible pain until I get the next one. Then 2 days later, poof, the pain is gone, but I gain back the weight. I have gained about 15 to 20 lbs. total. Hope this helps!
