Hi rosebella, I am currently on aygestin and have been on and off it for years (about 5) Whenever I miss a day, my period starts coming, with the cramping and spotting. A full period comes usually after I stop taking it a week.

I have trouble with my sex drive and my secretions vaginally are a problem also. I have to supplement it with estogen cream due to atrophy. I hate being on it; but it's the only way to keep my endo in check before I start to have kids. I am planning on going off the aygestin soon and start having periods again and hopefully get pregnant.

I taking pills two, three times a day and the side effects. The aygestin makes me feel "non-female" if that makes sense. When I'm off it, I feel so much more alive.

but if it keeps my pain away and endo in check for now, that's the price I'm paying.
