Re: Aygestin?From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri Jun 20 19:55:31 2003
Hi rosebella, I am currently on aygestin and have been on and off it for years (about 5) Whenever I miss a day, my period starts coming, with the cramping and spotting. A full period comes usually after I stop taking it a week. I have trouble with my sex drive and my secretions vaginally are a problem also. I have to supplement it with estogen cream due to atrophy. I hate being on it; but it's the only way to keep my endo in check before I start to have kids. I am planning on going off the aygestin soon and start having periods again and hopefully get pregnant. I taking pills two, three times a day and the side effects. The aygestin makes me feel "non-female" if that makes sense. When I'm off it, I feel so much more alive. but if it keeps my pain away and endo in check for now, that's the price I'm paying. good luck. let me know if you have any other questions. allecia anonymous@obgyn.net (Amanda) wrote:
