Repeated Miscarriages ARE linked to EndoFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jun 14 19:11:59 2003
I am looking for anyone who is undergoing treatment for repeated miscarriages, or has information that links repeated miscarriages to endometriosis (which is in term linked to inmune disorders). It is proven that SOME endo sufferers are likely to have higher levels of estrogen which in term has been associated with a decreased natural killer cel function (NK cells, CD56+ cells) that can affect implantation or stop the development of the embryo/oocyst. I believe I am one of them (3 miscarriages, 2 suspected chemicals), I wonder if I can find someone else in my shoes, especially someone who is undergoing preventative treatment for this specific case scenario. What medicines are you taking for it? (Heparin/Lovenox/IVIG/progesterone/Lupron?). Is this BEFORE or after pregnancy?. Yesterday I underwent very especialized testing for these issues and the results will be in in 4 more weeks, I would like to be as ready as possible to choose the best treatment available. Your experienced feedback is needed!. PS: My only succesful pregnancy happened right after undergoing 6 months of Lupron treatment right before achieving pregnancy, I believe it to be somewhat connected. Your expert advise/opinion is needed!.
