Re: Lumps in weird places

I feel for you. I went through a similar experience & symptoms back in 2000. I had difficulty swallowing, went to the doctor, he dismissed it. I'll make this short - I ended up having a mass at the base of my tongue. It was approx 1/3 of my esophagus. Later I developed an enlarged neck lymph node on the same side. After two surgeries, everything came out benign. My doctor is still baffled. My father died of lymphoma, so I couldn't help but think of the worse. It was the worse 9 months of my life. Keep in touch, sometimes this is the only place one can talk about our illnesses.
