i'm glad i'm not aloneFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 12 00:21:53 2003
after reading everyones messages, it is heart breaking to here all these stories, but it is also encouraging to see how many of us are fighters, and how amazing it is to see so many women stand together, reach out to each other, and support each other. I have stage 4 endo, am in my 30's, and trying Lupron. it is going o.k. for me right now, but i feel my life is at a turning point, and i am scared! i will have to live with the endo if i don't do surgery, if i do surgery i may be ok, or i will still have to live with the endo. its depressing to say the very least. but you women, all of you, who write in with your stories, and ideas, and advice.....you keep me from feeling completely hopeless!!atleast there are others like me out there, i am not alone, none of us are, as long as we can turn to each other for the advice that our doctors don't bother, or care to give us. THANK YOU ALL!! i may someday get a handle on this THING that grows inside me, and hopefully our cure is right around the next corner. I am praying for all of us, GODBLESS ALL of the fighters out there. keep it up,so that none of us ever have to deal with this frightening disease alone!!!!
