Re: 8 weeks after surgery

Jordan, every woman and every surgery is different. Both of my laps turned out vastly different. When you think about it, you did have a lot done in your lap. And the lasering does actually burn. I had a horrid burning sensation in my body after my first lap. I promise, you will get better, but the healing time will vary for each person and each surgery. Just listen to your body, and you'll know when the time is right to be close to your husband again. 8 weeks and not feeling normal is not abnormal. Give yourself another 4 to 8 weeks. It really does take a long time to fully recover. After my second lap, I was miserable for about 4 months before I really felt back to normal. Good luck to you.
