One more question about the lap...I think

I read somewhere that the endo implants aren't visible to you are about 22 yrs of age. Is this true? I hate to go through this (lap) and come out with nothing, besides horrible pain for the next 2 yrs, when they can actually see the endo. As for the other advice on whether or not to have a lap, thanks to you all. I plan on having it done, but haven't scheduled an app. because of these questions. Also the article from the endometriosis research center, was a huge help. It made me question whether or not I should have the same doctor do the surgery. Thanks a Bunch!
