Hello All,

I was just reading this message. I am new to the forum and having my first Lap next week. I have done a tremendous amount of research on this terrible disease. I have gone to several Obgyn's and have finally found one that is a Specialist in this thing. Amoung this journey I just found out from my mother that this is history in my family that believe it or not noone ever told me about or talked about!!. Needless to say I am very angry! I have had painful periods that have gotten progreesivley worse since I was 20 years old and at that time having Annual Pap Smears and being told that my pain is "NORMAL". Well after turning 35 the pain got extremely bad and now I am 37 and finally getting the help that I need and finding a Dr. that will listen to meinstead of assumming. At any rate, I too was interested in trying to get Oprah to do a show on Endo but looks like this is has alreay been done and was not a success. As far as Dr. Phil, In my opinion is very arrogant. ai cant stsnd this guys show!! (JUST AND OPINION) If its okay, I would like to suggest "The View" with Barbara Walters, Star Jones and some other ladies. Are you guys familiar with this show? I think this one would be perfect and they would cover alot of grone on it and would probably include some Celebrities who is coping with this disease as well as othe Chronic Pain diseases.

Wish you all well and pain free.
