When I had my first Lap my gyn had to leave the endo there because it was attached to an artery and she said that it was to dangerous to remove. I was in severe pain at least 25 days of every month. I was a single mom at the time and I could not miss work. So I would sit at my desk drugged up and crying most days. It was horrible. Nothing I took seemed to work. I was lucky because my doctor was more than happy to prescribe Vicodin and Percoset, but over time I grew such a tollerance that they would berely even take the edge off. In march she went in with her hands by laparotomy and removed the endo by excision. She then put me on Pamolar and continuous Yasmine. the first month and a half my pain was gone! Now I have pain occasionally but it is nothing like it used to be. I think the combo of Pamolar and Yasmin is really helping me. The only drawback is that I bleed every day and I get cramps. Before I never really had uterine cramps but internal right ovary pain, back pain and pain that radiated down my right leg. My advise to you is hang in there. If your doctor won't give you pain meds, then find a doctor that will. You should also find a doc that will consider removing the endo by excision. I know that will take time, so in the meantime go to the ER. They will at least give you a shot and 16 5mg vicodin to hold you over hopefully. I am 25 with 2 children and I could not imagine having a hystorectomy. You are only 22, and if I were you I would hold out as long as you can if you really want children. I feel for you and hope maybe I helped a little.
