Re: HELP ME UNDERSTAND PLEASE!!!

IBS may be a symptom for some women with endo, but I was misdiagnosed with IBS (before I knew for sure I had endo - I suspected I had endo) and it was only endo causing the problem. At the time of my hysterectomy, my sigmoid colon, uterus and left ovary were all adhered together. Changing the diet to eliminate bowel problems may not work if endo is on the bowel. I was on medication for IBS and it didn't do anything to really help because that wasn't the problem, it was the endo. This is just my experience.

Best wishes, D.N.
