I am 31. was dianosed with endo last july. I di lupron for 2 months, It helped the pain a little but I hated the sisde affects. I couldent get him to understand that I thought a hysto was the best thing for me until recently, I do have 3 kids and my tubes are tied. I am going in the summer to have the surgury. I would not go three months on the pill if I were you that is just a waste of your time and money. Talk to him somemore. If you keep telling him he will understand that's what you want.
