Does this sound like endo? The swelling and pain lasts between 4 and 7 days, and occasionally I get sharp shooting pains on the left side of my abdomen. The only other time I get this pain is during and after sex, where the pain again lasts for days. I have been referred to a gynaecologist, who didn't really listen to my description of the pain, or the pattern. Her initial view was that it is more likely to be a bowel problem. I'm not convinved. I have an appointment for an ultrasound scan in a few days, and would welcome anyone's views before I go back to see my gynaecologist.
