I am just going on my 2nd year. It is the most wonderful thing I have ever done. I know it has its drawbacks, and i am starting bone density tests in a week. But I just can't do surgery, and this was the only other option offered to me. Has anyone had bad effects from Lupron? I get mild hot flashes, and a 5lb. weight gain, but it is worth it, and much better than the intense pain that I had. It has taken 98% of the pain away.
