Continuous Birth Control and Very Sore BreastsFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 27 22:08:54 2003
Ladies, I really need some advice. I've been on continuous birth control for about 3 years, and in the last 6 months my breasts have grown larger. My left breast used to be considerably smaller than the right, but the right has grown, and the left has caught up to the size of the right in its larger size. Anyway, the problem I'm having is that the aerola (sp?) on my left breast keeps cracking. I get a lot of pain there as it's cracking, then the next day I'll find scabs. I've been keeping lotion on it 24/7, but it won't stop happening. I've also been keeping my boyfriend far away from the area so it doesn't get worse, but I just can't get rid of it!!! Do any of you have this problem? My breast itches or hurts all of the time, and when I do allow myself to have a period, my breasts aren't getting smaller anymore. I really could use some advice.
