Hey Stephanie, I had a partial hysterectomy on Feb. 4, 2003. I didn't choose to have it because of my endo I did it because I also had fibriods that caused extremely heavy periods with huge clots. I am now, not quite 4 mths post op and I'm still sore. At my 3 mth post op I realized my endo was returning. The only good thing is not having my horrible periods and the terrible cramps. My lower belly is still tender and when I ovulate or have my "cycle" I still do have endo pain, just not as strong as before. Hope this helps
