well, the urologist scared me to death. but i think i'll be okay. he wants to do some tests before my laparoscopy june 9. first he wants to do an intravenous pyelography. he wants to do this wednesday morning. i'm not too worried about this except for the bowel prep. i absolutely hate that. and i have to start it at 1 tomorrow afternoon. so i'm taking a half day. there's no way i will be able to teach once that kicks in. i'm also taking the entire day off wednesday. i want to rest after the test, plus my kitty needs to go to the vet (like that is a concern for this board; lol). i guess the ivp will tell them if there's a reason i have back pain when i pee. the second test is next thursday. it's by far the most humiliating. the urodynamics test. ugh. if you don't know what it is, you're lucky. i'll spare you. this will be late in the afternoon, so i don't have to miss work. i think if i get really drunk afterward, then i'll be able to forget the humiliation. maybe. just kidding. the third is a cystoscopy the next week. he says if her doesn't see endo in my bladder, then he won't need to assist during my laparoscopy. if he does see it, then he'll help my gyn in the laparoscopy. i'm just worried about the cystoscopy. apparently i'll be awake for this. and i don't like that. also i'm worried that they won't find anything and tell me to just live with the pain. just had to get it out. thanks for listening.
