Hi, I was suffering so much of severe pain and I thought that I after the surgey I was going to be pain free but to my surprise it wasn't. The first period just like you was very painful. I was in BCP for several years on and off and, everytime I saw my period it was very painful then I was advised to gon Lupron. I was pain free for 9 months. My first period after the lupron was not bad but the past period which was the 2nd was horrible and I was unable to go to work for 2 days. Lupron helped my for 9 months. Stop dairy products and took supplement of calcium. try and see what happens. good luck!
