I had the exact same diagnosis- I strongly suggest not having your surgery by your OBGYN! Go see Dr. Harry Reich in Shavertown, PA- he is the best!! I would be happy to further discuss this with you especially if you have bowel involvement- you need to see someone who has had a lot of experiance with this type of surgery.
