>>Hi, I just found this web site, and I am new to all of this. I was just told last week that I need a historectomy or I could try Lupron. I looked up Lupron and did not like what I saw. I am 34, and have one child who is 11. I was not prepared for what my Dr. told me. I thought she would just go in and laser things again. I have had 2 laser surgery's for endo. I did have about a 4 year period between surgery's. My last one was in Jan. 2002. At the same time I had my tubes tied, and went off the pill. That made my endo grow like crazy! I am in pain all the time, to the point of that I have to lay down and curl in a ball with a heating pad, which does not help much. And they have only given me Anaprox for the pain. I would just like any info anyone could give me about Lupron or the benefits of having a Historeectomy, at this point I am open to just about anything to get rid of the pain. Thanks so much for letting me get this off my chest. Thanks again Jen.

Hi, I was reading about having hysterectomy. When I spoke with my doctor he had told me that was not the right the decision right now becuase by doing hysterectomy before 40 or 45 always brough traumas to women that in the future, if was necessary would be the last thing to do but then to try lupron or pills. which I did. I finished Lupron in January and got 1st period not too bad, the second menstrual cicle was very bad and I couldn't go to work for 2 days. I may go back to the pills or will ask him what is the next step. Also he said that by having hysterectomy was not a guarantee that I was going to be pain free becuase Endo was very difficult to find. think about it. good luck
