4th annual women's health weekFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu May 8 14:03:04 2003
Someone had mentioned recently about women's health week...I just got this email from the Endometriosis Research Center and thought I'd pass it along. Hope it helps someone.
>>>begin forward---- The ERC is delighted to be a participant in National Women's Health Week, a project of the National Women's Health Information Center (NWHIC) / Office on Women's Health in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. We will be celebrating the 4th annual National Women's Health Week from May 11-17, 2003. In honor of National Women's Health Week, the ERC will be presenting free copies of our "Endometriosis: Frequently Asked Questions" material to all interested parties. This Presentation addresses important concerns and questions about the disease for all those who have, or think they may have, Endometriosis. Also included in celebration of Women's Health Week is the ERC's Self Test publication, which women and girls can complete and take to their gynecologist for review and further discussion. All interested parties can obtain their free copies of the Presentation and Self Test via free download from the ERC website at http://www.endocenter.org during National Women's Health Week. Those without Internet access may call toll free to request their copy at 800/239-7280. When calling, please reference "National Women's Health Week materials." National Women's Health Week is an effort by an alliance of national organizations to raise awareness about manageable steps women can take to improve their health. The focus is on the importance of incorporating simple preventative and positive health behaviors into everyday life. The week will start on Mother's Day and end on the following Saturday, a time when there is much attention already being focused on women. For additional details, please visit http://www.4woman.gov/whw/event-cal-detail.cfm?ID=961. Please join the ERC in celebrating this important event in honor of women and girls across our Nation. Happy National Women's Health Week!<<< [----end forward>>>
