Pain after Laparoscopy
From: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)
Tue Apr 29 22:17:39 2003
This is my first time posting anything on this site. I am 27, was finally
diagnosed with endo in 1999 and have had 4 laps since then. My last was
Apr. 17th. I took a week off of work and went back to teach yesterday. I
thought at first I was just recovering from the lap, but I have my same left
side pain back again! How can this be??? When they did the lap, they found
more endo, scar tissue, my ovaries were attached to different things by scar
tissue, and my gall bladder was covered in scar tissue! The doctor told me
that I will probably have to get that taken out. I just don't know what to
do anymore. I have tried Lupron, BCPs, and lots of painkillers, but nothing
seems to work. I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia and a sleeping
disorder. Any advice????
