Karine,

I would agree about getting a second opinion. Look for gyn's in your area that specialize in endometriosis and/or pelvic pain. Currently the only way endometriosis can be diagnoised is through a laparoscopy....sticking a itty camera in a very small incision taking a peak inside. When you are looking for a specialist, look at their education and talk to other women friends that you have that are in the area about their experiences. You might also want to look for a reproductive endocrinologist....they deal w/ the hormones and fertility issues. I currently see one and he's excellent. If you are near Chicago,IL...email me off the list and I will give you his name and a couple others that I have heard that are really good, but weren't on my insurance plan.
