I am 22 years old and was diagnosed with endometreiosis when I was 20. I had surgery 1 month after being diagnosed to remove the mass in me. My doctor put me on Lupron for 6 months immediately to help control the endo. My doctor told me that after the surgery I was "cleaned up" inside and that the Lupron would keep me cleaned up for the 6 months. He then put me on birth control (Alesse) with a specific ingredient specifically to help those with endo. I recommend doing the 6 month treatment...I am glad that I did it. I feel better about my condition. I hope this helps.
