Re: Bowel Problems - Help!

Becky, I also have problems with my bowels with my endo. It was better after my last lap, but it's all coming back again. I suffer from chronic constipation, which always leads to chronic diarrhea. It's always one or the other. Since you have your cycle down pat now, during the time you are supposed to be having diarrhea, try eating foods known to constipate. Eat some red meat, avoid fruit, etc. Obviously, red meat, dairy and those things aren't good for endo, but they'll help you from losing so much weight during your bouts with diarrhea. I, unfortuantely, have no cycle, so I can't predict what's going to happen to me when. What kind of treatment are you on for your endo? That may also be a factor. Most likely you have sor irritable bowl with your endo, and it's quite common, but you shouldn't be losing so much weight over it. Maybe you should schedule an appointment with your doctor just to sit down and have a chat about what's going on. Good luck to you!
