I am a 29 year old with 2 pregnacys and 2 children. My youngest was born 6 months ago. I had a tubal ligation on December 17, 2003. My period has been regualar but heavy. I have been making frequent trip to my doctor for what I thought to be UTI. I was having lower back pain, abdominal pain, and difficulty urinating (no burning), and pain in my shoulders. I had urine sample taken, wet prep, and blood work done. The results did not indicate any infection. The doctors scheduled me a vaginal ultrasound to be done. While waiting for my husband to get home to go for the ultrasound, I got dizzy from pain and fell. The pain got worse and my doctors refered me to the ER. The doctor were concerned about my severe right side pain. During the ulstrasound they found cyst on both ovaries and said my uterus was thickened. So I scheduled to see my obgyn on Tuesday April 8. In the mean time the pain has gotten worse and last longer. I have been vomiting for the past week. Since she did my tubal 5 months ago she said she saw nothing but what might be some mild endometrious and felt assured everything was still fine. My obgyn put me on a hormone pill to make me have a period to thin the lining and put me on the birthcontrol pill. I was hoping this was not my only option since I had my tubes tied. She did not examine me or anything.

Should I get a second opinion? Is there any other conditions to
consider.
Thank you for your time.
