Sean:

I see that someone else has written to you about http://www.hystersisters.com. We have over 25,000 members (I used to be a Hostess there) and a whole forum called Cancer Concerns (http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=6) where your wife will find help of all sorts as you both deal with this. It is a "women helping women" website...we do ask that the women themselves register, as many women are uncomfortable discussing aspects of their hysterectomy experience with any men around.

Best wishes to your wife...a book suggestion for you is "Cancer Schmancer" by Fran Drescher (remember the "Nanny"?) It's a little too "Hollyweird" for me (and I actually live there!) but she writes well about her experiences with uterine cancer and what it took to get a diagnosis.

Hugs, and prayers to you both. There are excellent treatment options these days, and so many are successful. I hope your wife's treatment goes well!

Audrey
