2nd opinionFrom: Margaret (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Apr 3 10:02:43 2003
Hi guys. Everything went fine. I talked to the guy for half an hour, at least. He said he didn't think I had endo and he actually told me WHY he didn't think that. He said that most women with endo have pain beginning days or even a week before their period. My pain is on the first 2-3 days, that's it. Nothing before, nothing later. He said it's likely I have aden...(whatever, can't spell that one, can't even say it!) but that hysto is the only way to diagnose and cure that and we're not going there. The daily pain in my right ovary had stopped 2 days before the appt. so he said it might have been a cyst--they take 3-6 weeks to resolve but if it came back then we'd need to figure out what that was. So, there ya go. I'm going to look up stuff on adeno and see what it's symptoms are to see if I concur, but I do feel better about it. Even though I don't have it I'm not leaving this site! I swear, I'm obsessed, I have to get my daily dose of forum or I go a little crazy! mags
