Listen to your body! My Gyn says 1 week before resuming "normal"
activity such as work! After my 1st Lap I went back to work the next
day, I only worked half days for the week. My 2nd Lap I took 3 days
off. My 3rd Lap I took a week and I was still really tired! It was
really weird! Everyone is different and every surgery is different.
I warned my boss before that there could be "problems" and I would keep
her informed as to when I would be back. Let your boss know this.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Good luck on your Lap and take it easy afterwards! Of course they will
give you some "Good" stuff for the ride home and for the days after. My
Gyn always gives me Vicodin and 600 Mg of Ibuprofen. Bring a pillow
with you, I've heard that a pillow helps on the car ride for bumps and
things too. Again, good luck.
