Ruth,

What is lapex? I've heard of excision being used during laparoscopy but never heard this term before.

Excision can be done with a laser as well as other kinds of instruments such as harmonic scalpel. When I had my 3rd surgery my dr used a harmonic scalpel.

She couldn't find any new endo though b/c the Zoladex that I took in 2001 is hiding it from view. I have microscopic implants. After a while when they are viewable she should be able to get them out but so far since my 3rd surgery almost 6 weeks ago I'm doing a little bit better each day physically, as long as I don't overdo on some things.

Oh in case you are wondering about my dr's experience: she's a regular OB/GYN who knows a lot about endo.
