Re: ENDO Re: belly button problems since lap. From: Kristen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Mar 29 11:45:51 2003
Annette, I just wanted to tell you that I too had problems with my navel. I kept telling, about my navel bleeding which was about the time I would have a period if I actually had them. my doctor and see that if it becomes a problem, then he would go in and look. While my husband and I were on vacation, it got so bad that I was dripping on the floor. I told him that I could stand it no longer. I would put gauze pads on it and it would still go through my clothes. He agreed to another surgery but only if I allowed another surgeon present to look at the problem with my navel. He was very nice. They found a large cyst on my umbilical track (?). He said that in some people they disappear after birth but for others, they keep growing. That was me. They removed the cyst and cut the cord and made my navel look better. For a while after my surgery I had an infection and I had that yellow/orange goop. I had to see the surgeon for four months until it was cleared up. I have not experienced this since that surgery. Well, I hope I helped in some way. Kristen -- Creed ONE I feel angry, I feel helpless, Want to change the world. I feel violent, I feel alone, Don't try to change my mind.
