So much pain--please helpFrom: Theresea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Mar 28 22:47:56 2003
I will try to make this short. I have been having lower back pain on the left side since Jan 2003. I went to my ob/gyn & they found a mass & wanted to rule out pregnacy so it turned out I was pregnant. There is however a cyst on my left ovary. The pain in my back always got bad a week before my period but cont. to get worse each month. So anyway because of the pain I was in (I could hardly get out of bed most days) my husband & I decided to abort the baby. We already have 2 boys. The pain has not went away & so the dr put me back on birth control (never explained why) & told me that if the pain was still there in 4 weeks he would do a laposcopy to remove the cyst & the ovary. I have pain the goes all the way down my left leg & makes it numb. I can not understand why my dr has put me thru this! I called him last Mon in tears & all he could say was I will see you next Mon (4 weeks) He told me that he is afraid I will have more probelms after he removes these than now. I DO NOT care because the pain is so bad. I also have Endo & have had 3 lap to remove this. I was wondering if anyone out there has ever had this probelm? Because I truly feel that endo is in there somewhere because of the pain. And since this started I have had to RUN the to bathroom with such intense dirreha that I am losing weight fast. I have not been able to sleep because of the pain in my back & leg that I feel like if something is not done soon I will lose my mind. I have 2 young boys & can not take pain pills all day & function! I hope someone is listening & has some advice. Thank you for taking the time to read such a long cry for help! Thanks & God bless.
