I was on lupron for the entire 6 months, and never had the insomnia problem at all. That dosen't mean i didn't have lots of other problems on it, though. My doctor put me on norethindrone tablets at night. I just took one at bedtime to counter-act the menopausal-insomnia effects. It helped 100% with that. I slept well every night,a dn never had a "night sweat" that the doc. warned me about. I did have constant "itchies", from my scalp all the way down to my feet!! Expecially when i would first get the shot. I was pretty much pain-free while i was on it-making it all worth it!!
