Yvette,
My advice is to do as much research as you can. I'm currently doing that
myself. I've had Endo for many years now and have been thinking of a
hysterectomy too. From what I've learned your Dr. is telling you the right
thing about taking both ovaries. Endo has less of a chance of coming back if
they are both removed. If you aren't planning on having any more children
that may be the way to go. I have been searching different sites and came
up with a wonderful site called Hystersisters.com. It's for woman
considering having a hysterectomy and woman who have had one. Lots of great
info there. Also a lot of information on hormone therapy. I wish you the
best.
