>If you mean fibroids, the ca-125 would be higher than normal as well. The CA-125 is not at useful in detecting ovarian cancer at the early stages. The CA-125 is best used for high risk women to detect CHANGES in the level over time as an indicator of cancer. The only way to diagnose ovarian cancer for certain is through surgery.
