Re: Fibromyalgia and EndometrosisFrom: Dusty (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Mar 19 16:18:22 2003
There are soooo many lawsuits out against long-term irreversible side effects from lupron. search the web. I have taken a 6 mon. treatment and then yrs. later they reccommended to try it again. I had unbelievable back pain and joint pain. The dr. refused to believe it could possibly be from the shot. I called the 1(800) to the drug company and they had a nurse on call who told me that arthritis like pain IS one of the side effects and warned me that even once not taking the next injection it can remain in your system for 1-3 months at low doses. I sympathize with you!!!! I quit taking it and reported my problem to the drug company and printed all the neg. I could find on the web and gave them to my dr. Hope things improve...but don't ever let somebody (Dr. or not) convince you to stay on something that makes you miserable!! Taunya
