I would definitely talk to your doctor in regards to your concern about a possible vaginal infection. As far as your symptoms after sex--- Oh- I have the same problems. I am allergic to nonoxynol 9 (sp?) the spermicide in most condoms. Also- I have a mild latex allergy. Yours could be either/or- maybe both. Although my latex allergy is not severe- my doctor has let me know that latex allergies worsen with each exposure. When I had my laps and luna and any time I have an exam they take precautions. The last time my husband and I used a condom- I swelled up, was irritated and thought I might have a yeast infection. I went to my Ob- and my yeast test came back negative. I was just irritated by the latex. As far as lubricants go- that is so personal- and everyone's preference vary... My personal favorite is Vagisil Silk Glide. It is new and works better for me than anything else ever has. I have a problem with constant dryness so I even use a dab of it (outside of sex) just to feel normal. Ever since I have had my daughter I have had this problem. I get so dry that I am chapped at times. Sorry for being so explicit- I just thought I would share with you my problem. I hope this helps... Take Care... Amy Swanson P.S. K-Y never worked for me- for whatever reason it never agreed with my body. At Mon, 17 Mar 2003, anonymous wrote: >
