I was just like both of you before my last surgery in May. I know exactly what it is like to have pain radiating from your ovaries to your hip and down your leg. This past (fifth) surgery was done by a specialist and followed up with more physical therapy and if I skip pt a week prior to a period I'll have the pain in my right hip that radiates down my leg. This new doctor is wonderful. I have never been this pain free before. I'm off the antidepressants and have my sanity back, I have energy and play sports again. anonymous@obgyn.net wrote:Cherryl-

It sounds like you and I are in the same boat this week! I'm having terrible right ovary pain and bowel troubles! I feel like I'm going mad! I don't want to take anything stronger than OTC pain relievers but I do have a bottle of Vicodin that's screaming my name. Are you taking anything? I don't want any more surgeries either! I think 3 is enough and the 3rd time should have been a charm but it wasn't. Yes, this is a nightmare and don't you just wish someone would wake us up already?? Have you called your doctor or anything? I'm tempted and I've been tempted to go to the ER just to make sure that my ovary hasn't exploded like it feels like it has 1,000 times since Thursday!

I hope you feel better soon! I'll pray for you and I'll pray for myself to keep my sanity. And...this too shall pass (we hope).
