you need to see an endocrinologist/fertility specialist. do you live in chicago? i can refer you to someone. Jane <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote:Hi, After a long wait to see an Endocrinologist I was never so disappointed! This Dr. who would hardly let me speak assumed she new EVERYTHING. Long story short-I was there to find out why I wasn't feeling well. I genereally am dizzy, anxious, exhausted and really just not right! She saw me, without any evidence, she assumed that because I had irregular periods and have been told before that I MAY have PCOS that I DO! There's no blood work or ultrasound that backs anything up and she went on and on about me having the SYNDROME! That's one thing, but I went in for the odd symptoms and she said that she doesn't know why I have these symptoms. She wouldn't check into it. She went straight for a CHOICE that I didn't even suggest..Either A- I get pregnant now at my very heavy weight 300!!!! with metaformin?? or B-lose the weight with Xenical??? I told her that I would never consider getting pregnant with the way I've been feeling and first of all my weight...My GOD! She said that she was more conserned about me waiting until after I'm 40 and the risk then than now with my weight. Needless to say, my husband and I were freaked out! Are all Endo's like this??Shouldn't you have ANY evidence and get to know someone and allow them to speak and listen before suggesting such radical, possibly very dangerous ideas? I'm confused? Where do I go now? What do I do? Has the world gone mad? Are there no good Doctor's anymore? Was I at the wrong Dr's? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Jane
