Hi, I think you should go for a seconr, third, 4th consult. I did that before my surgery. I saw 5 doctors before my surgery and 4 of them denied that i had Endo. If fact they had told me that I had a "big cyst". When my surgury was done the doctor didn't find any cyst. When I was haveing all kind of sonograms it showed that I had an ovary removed and I was scared due to the fact I had apendectomy when I was 18 and noone had told me that one of my ovary had to be removed. Well, When I had the surgey in 1999 my right ovary was behind my left ovary because the Endo tissue pushed it behind and that's why they couldn't see my ovary in the sonogram. That's why I'm telling you to go a visit another doctor for a consultation because many, many doctors are not updated with this desease, therefore when we finally find out in many cases is very late. I don't think that you can be diagnosed with Endo without LAP done and if he already suspect that you have Endo you should have the LAP done to remove it. I don't think this doctor you are visiting is knowledge of Endo. I suggest you again to visit more then one doctor.

Good Luch
