Hi I'm 20 years old. I have had bad ovary pain for a few years now. They thought it would go away when they did the laparoscopy and found scar tissue an took it out. But it came back two years later. I also have fibromyalgia so you can imagine the fun I have with all the pain problems. Today my doctor said he's going to shut down my ovaries. That I will be taken off birth control and put on these pills that will stop my periods I will become menopausal. I've never heard of this kind of procedure so I'm wondering is it safe??? What are the side effects??? Can it affect my Fibromyalgia??? He says it shouldn't but they have been wrong many times and pills don't get along with my body at all. If someone could help me out explain it to me I would appreciate it. Brandy
