Hi, I am a month into my third Lupron injection (3 month dosage each). I have had a very positive experience with it. I too was nervous about taking it, but it was the only one I would even think of trying from the hormonal drug treatment options out there. I figured that the side effects could not be worse than the actual endo pain/symptoms. About two weeks after my first shot I had a complete turn around. I had no more pain at all, was not fatigued, basically all of my endo symptoms were gone...I do have hot flashes, worse the first couple months (was having one every half hour!), but a small price I think to pay for relief. Before the injection many days I could not funcion normally, missed work and school days. This is my last dose, I don't want to go longer than 9 months and unfortunately this last one is not working as well as the first two so I imagine all of the endo pain, etc will be back by May. It is only a temporary help/relief, but it was worth it for me. I hear that in some women it may help for a couple years afterwards, or like so many other stories, it does not help at all but worsens symptoms. Hope this helps you in your decisoin-making. God Bless
