Ann, when my endo gets worse, and flares up, internal gyno exams do increase my pain, which on occasion lasts for days on end. When they're in there pushing on our ovaries to feel for new cysts, or to find where we're tender, they do aggrivate those bad areas. It should only last a few days. Or, your doc's "exploration" of your pain in an exam could have put you more mentally in tune to where your pain is centered. I know sometimes I do make my pain worse by just thinking about where it is, and how tired I am of being in pain. But, go with your gut on this. If you believe your endo is worse, and your doc isn't listening to you, maybe you need to get a second opinion. I hope this has helped. Feel free to ask more questions if you need more info.
