I don't know the extent of your symptoms, but if you have a benign condition and you can live with your symptoms without affecting the quality of life, it's not necessary to have a hysterectomy. Always get a second opinion (or third) when considering major surgery. If you do have endo , a hysterectomy isn't always a cure. And if you keep your ovaries, I think you have more potential for further endo. Not a doc; just what I've read.
