Re: Having a bad dayFrom: Monica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jan 28 18:51:08 2003
I'm sorry you are having a bad day. I have the same shooting pain down my leg, butt and leg. My dr even told me I may have osteoarthritis in my back (?) instead of listening to me. I whole-heartedly believe it is endo related. Has your dr ever said anything to you about a pinched nerve. That is the only reason I can think your ob is sending you to a neurologist!?? I hope the rest of the week is better for you. You can email me if you'd like. I will keep you in my thoughts. Monica amy coe <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote:Hi all. Just needed to vent a little bit. I am having so much pain today and I think I might go mad. I have endo on an artery that was not removeable under my right ovary. In doing my lap my ob found that I have a defect where my ovary is growing inside the pelvis wall. It is not from adhesions. I was born that way. I only have two small spots of endo, and extreme pain at times, but like I said, she was unable to get rid of it because of where it is located. She doesn't seem to know what to do with me, and believes that my pain stems from my ovary being compressed by the muscle tissue. I don't know what to think and am so frusterated because it has been 2 months and the pill is not working, and I think I am growing tollerant to the Vicodin. Has anyone heard of this ovary thing and does anyone have any suggestions on specialists in Arizona? My ob has reffered my to a neurologist because of the pain that radiates down my back, but and leg, but I don't know how much the neurologist will help. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
